I've been meal prepping for years and always ended up with stained, smelly plastic by month three. These have been going strong for six months, no staining, no weird smell, nothing. Sunday prep actually feels satisfying now when everything lines up in the fridge.

Honestly bought these because they looked good. Kept them because they're genuinely the best containers I've owned. The lids stay on, nothing leaks in my work bag, and they stack perfectly on one fridge shelf. My husband has started using them too which tells you everything.

I bring lunch to work every day and used to dread opening my bag wondering if something had leaked. Haven't had that problem once. The container keeps food fresh from Sunday night to Thursday and doesn't smell like last week's dinner. Worth every cent.

Bought the 12 pack for our household and we use them constantly, lunches, leftovers, snacks for the kids. I was skeptical about the price at first but we haven't replaced a single one and it's been eight months. The plastic set we had before lasted maybe four.

I track macros so container size actually matters to me, 600ml fits a proper meal, not a diet portion. Full rice bowl with protein, a real stir fry, even yoghurt and granola with room to spare. I've been labelling mine with masking tape for four months and the lids are still completely clear. My old plastic ones were yellowed and warped by week three of the same thing.

These are the first containers I've actually been excited to use. I know that sounds ridiculous but the quality is so obviously different the moment you hold one. Heavy, solid, no flex in the lid. My meal prep has been consistent for the first time in two years.

I was so hesitant to spend this much on containers but I'm so glad I did. I stack mine exactly like this on the bench every Sunday, prawn fried rice on top, the bean mix in the middle, overnight oats at the bottom. Six months in and they look exactly the same as when they arrived. No warping, no smell, nothing. My old plastic ones looked destroyed by week three.

My partner and I eat completely differently so we prep four different meals every week. These fit everything, his tacos, my avo toast situation, the kale mix, all of it. The lids actually stay on properly unlike every other set we've tried. We're on month four and haven't lost a single lid or had one crack. Genuinely the best kitchen purchase we've made this year.

I cook different things for each day of the week so I need containers that don't hold onto smells. These are honestly incredible for that, I had salmon in one on Monday and put a grain salad in it Thursday and there was zero smell transfer. That alone made these worth it for me.

Frequently asked questions

Are they actually dishwasher safe?

Yes, fully. Unlike plastic, stainless steel doesn't degrade, warp, or absorb odours from repeated dishwasher cycles. Top or bottom rack, they come out the same as the day you bought them.

How big are they? Will a full meal actually fit?

Each container is 13.5 x 10.5 x 6cm with a 600ml capacity, enough for a proper meal. Think a full portion of rice and protein, a large salad, or a generous serving of leftovers. Not snack-sized.

Can I use them in the freezer?

Yes. Stainless steel handles freezer temperatures without warping, cracking, or taking on smells. Leave some space at the top if you're freezing liquid-based meals.

Will they scratch or dent easily?

Japanese stainless steel is incredibly tough but not indestructible, everyday use won't mark them, but dropping them on tiles might. The brushed finish handles light surface scratches well; they tend to blend in rather than stand out.

How do I clean them properly?

Dishwasher or hand wash with warm soapy water. For stubborn residue, a paste of baking soda and water left for a few minutes will lift it without scratching. Avoid steel wool.

Are they microwave safe?

No. Stainless steel cannot be used in a microwave. Transfer food to a plate or glass vessel before reheating.

How many containers are in the set?

Available as a 6-container or 12-container set. Both configurations include a mix of portion sizes suited to different meal types.
