A quiet block of light, flush to the wall.

moor is a compact wall light finished in a wood-grain surface treatment over a pressed metal body, in a pale oak tone or a deeper walnut tone. Switched on, it sends a soft wash of warmth up the plaster and down, the block itself staying still and matte between the two.

Mounts flush with no visible fixings. Suited to a hallway, a stairwell, or either side of a bed.

moor wall light in walnut finish in a hallway
wood grain, warm light

A quiet glow that holds its shape.

moor sits flush to the plaster, the wood-grain finish catching what little light there is even before it switches on. Once lit, it sends a soft wash up the wall and down, settling a hallway or a bedside corner into something quieter. The block itself stays matte and still between the two beams.

Trusted by customers creating thoughtful homes

From first apartments to full-room refreshes, our customers choose pieces that bring calm, warmth, and purpose into daily life.

Exactly the glow we wanted in the hallway

We mounted two of these either side of the front door and the light sits low and warm, never harsh. The oak finish looks like real timber from across the room.

Quietly does its job

Small, well made, and the walnut tone is richer in person than in photos. It has become the only light we use in the hallway after dark.

Simple and considered

No fuss to install and the up and down wash is softer than I expected. Sits flush to the wall exactly as pictured.

Frequently asked questions

Does moor need a switch or dimmer?

It wires into a standard wall circuit. Switching and dimming compatibility depend on your existing wiring, to be confirmed with an electrician at installation.

How much of the wall does it light?

The two beams sit close to the fixture, warming the plaster directly above and below rather than flooding the room. It reads as accent light, not a primary source.

Can I mix the two finishes in one room?

Yes. Several customers pair oak and walnut across a hallway or either side of a bed for a quieter, less matched look.

Is the light warm or cool toned?

Warm. It sits close to candlelight rather than daylight white.
